In times of need, Estes is there, delivering support to the communities where we live, work, and serve. In Charlottesville, VA, a local radio station sponsored a Hurricane Helene relief drive and needed help getting life-sustaining supplies to impacted communities. Estes stepped in to help by donating a trailer, and once it was filled with donated water, non-perishable food items, diapers, and hygiene products, we transported the goods to areas affected by the storm. Estes is happy to go the extra mile to help those in need!

As the Southeast recovers from Hurricane Helene, Estes is there with the communities where we live, work, and serve — delivering help when and where it’s needed most. Some of the many efforts Estes is leading include Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) relief. Over 170 drivers are delivering lifesaving commodities like water, food, and tarps to residents in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. Estes managers and supervisors are coordinating these efforts. More than a dozen dockworkers are also helping load trailers, ensuring that as many supplies as possible are delivered. Together, we are #EstesStrong.

Team Estes is proud to deliver help where it’s needed most in the wake of Hurricane Helene. Teammates from our IT and Salvage Departments packed two Estes Disaster Response trailers with equipment to support our emergency management and recovery efforts. The trailers are headed to Asheville and Charlotte, NC, and will add to our other efforts in South Carolina and Virginia.

#TeamEstes collected 200+ children's books through our book drive at the corporate office for Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU. Estes and our partner PaperPie matched the donation, bringing the total to over 600 books!Estes kicked off Spirit Week celebrations by packing and delivering the books to the CHoR Children's Tower, where our team helped restock the book carts. Estes made a $300,000 gift to fund the Medical Play Space and Multi-Sensory Room within the new Child Life Zone at CHoR, to open late 2024. The Estes Loading Dock and other areas of the Children’s Tower are also named in honor of Estes following a nearly $2 million donation made in 2021. At Estes, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve. Thank you to 12 On Your Side for the feature about the drive: https://lnkd.in/ejaNTcFJ #EstesForGood
