In the world of celeb relationships, Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz are up there as one of our absolute faves. From their iconic BMX ride to their almost Met Gala debut, these two are total #couplegoals.
The pair were first linked in 2021, following Channing's two-year relationship with Jessie J (from 2018 to 2020). Meanwhile, Zoë filed for divorce from her husband, Karl Glusman, in December 2019, after 18 months of marriage.
Here's a look back at Channing and Zoë's relationship so far, starting with the most recent update.
9th August 2024 - The pair pose for photos on the red carpet together, promoting their upcoming film Blink Twice
If you didn't already know (um, where have you been?), Channing stars in Zoë's upcoming debut as a director in Blink Twice, which comes out on the 23rd August in the UK. We are OBSESSED with their coordinating outfits, while Channing also told People that in order to get closer to your partner, go through "the hardest possible creative project.
"This is what I'll say about creating with someone that you are with or love: I suggest it. If you are thinking about having a kid or if you're thinking about getting married, go find the hardest possible creative project with your partner."
And here's the rest of their relationship...
19 August 2021 - Channing and Zoë are first reported to be dating
Can you believe these two have only been an official thing since August 2021? Somehow, it feels *much* longer, but it was only Summer '21 when the pair were first properly linked.
You'll remember that the duo were snapped together in a set of now-iconic bike ride photos (published by Page Six) - with Channing sat on a BMX while Zoë draped her arms over his shoulders and stood on the foot pegs behind. Literally couple goals already TBH.
At the time, the publication reported that the pair had been for a walk in New York's East Village together, and "appeared to be enjoying each other’s company as they shared a few laughs."
The pics arrived after the pair had spent time working together on Zoë's directorial debut, puss* Island. An insider told E!, "There's more than a friendship going on with Channing and Zoë. They are spending a lot of time together and having fun. They are more than just close friends or co-stars. Their relationship has grown into more."
28 August 2021 - Channing follows a Zoë fan account
Following initial dating reports, these two fuelled speculation even further when Channing followed multiple fan accounts dedicated to Zoë on Instagram. Yep, talk about a modern day romance.
This is the kind of flirting we can get on board with.
13 September 2021 - The duo leave the Met Gala together
As if these two weren't couple goals enough, September saw the pair leaving the 2021 Met Gala together, with sources reporting seeing the duo getting on well at an afterparty.
First there were *those* iconic snaps of the pair walking down the Met steps together. Then, sources told People that Channing and Zoë, "did not take their hands off of each other" during afterparty celebrations.
Cute!

In any relationship, it's important to be on good terms with your partner's family, right? And, just a month after relationship rumours first surfaced, Channing seemed to be fully sharing the love with Zoë's dad, Lenny Kravitz, on Instagram.
Lenny shared a semi-topless abs shot on the grid, with Channing commenting, "Good god man! What are you eating or what’s in the water or the genes. It’s not natural. Do you just do abs like all day?"
Replying, Lenny wrote, "Dude I'm just trying to get in the next Magic Mike. Any connections?"
We're glad to see these two get on well!

17 August 2022 - Zoë shares the reason why she was first "drawn" to Channing
Following her February comments, August saw Zoë opening up once again about the reason why she was "drawn" to Channing.
"I felt, even from afar, before I knew him, that he was a feminist and that he wasn't afraid of exploring that darkness, because he knows he's not that," Zoë told the Wall Street Journal Magazine. "That's why I was drawn to him and wanted to meet with him. And I was right."
Sharing details on why she chose to cast Channing in puss* Island Zoë added, "I think that's exciting to watch someone who's mostly played boy next door, good guy, love interest, all of that."
She went on to say that Channing had been her "first choice" for the role of Slater King, a tech mogul that she thought should be played by "someone who hadn't played a dark character before."
Touching on how working together has impacted the couple's romance, Zoë explained, "When you make things with people it's a very sacred space, and when you're compatible with somebody creatively it often opens up other channels, because you're kind of sharing all of yourself. I'm really grateful that this movie has brought him into my life that way."
Ahh, you guys!

Talking about working together on upcoming film puss* Island, she added, "Whether it was making me tea or pouring me a drink or going to whip someone into shape or whatever—he really was my protector and it was really wonderful and sweet. I think if you can do something like that together, it’s a good test. And we came out even stronger."
